Moong ki dal /phikki dal

#NP
Though the name goes phikki dal but it's not that so.... It's just a dal without sourness. It's light on stomach and one of the source of protein.. It's a good option to include in the diet of kids and surely kids will like the taste. Have a look on the recipe.

Steps
- 1
Wash the moong dal and take into a Kadai add water, ginger garlic paste, haldi powder and salt to taste. {You may add green chilli paste at this time too}. But here I have used green chillies chopped in tempering because I don't want it to be too spicy.

Cook it until it's done. A just the consistency you want. Then temper it, by taking oil put curry leaves, jeera, green chilli chopped, garlic chopped, brown onion and dry chilies. Pour over the dal. You may have it plain rice /roti. It's very simple to cook can be included in daily meals.
