Soya Sattu Seekh Kebab

Soya Sattu Kebab is a Perfect, Tasty & Healthy Protein-Rich Snack.
It is full of flavour, crispy on the outside and soft, juicy & smooth inside. Every bite is just delight!
Soya Chunks & Sattu are the two main ingredients in this recipe which makes it Highly rich in protein.
Also these kebabs are shallow fried using very little of natural groundnut oil which makes it a super healthy food. It's absolutely vegan too.
Soya chunks are highly rich in protein and due to it's texture, it tastes very close to the meat seekh kebab. Hence it's also known as "vegetarian’s meat".
Sattu is a protein-rich flour made from roasted and powdered chana (Bengal gram) or other pulses and cereals. Many a times, Sattu is referred to as "Poor man’s protein".

Steps

Soak soya chunks in hot water for 15 mins. Now drain & wash with normal water. Squeeze all the water out and blend it to a fine paste.

Now combine it with sattu, chopped onions, mashed potato, coriander, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, spice tea masala powder, mustard oil, lemon juice, and salt.

Mix it well and divide the mixture into 10 equal portions. Roll each ball to the skewer as seen in the picture.

Heat oil in a pan or grill and shallow fry the kebabs till it is brown on both sides. Enjoy hot with tomato-chilli or green chutney!
