Misua Tim Ayam (Misua Noodles with Chicken Steam Soup)

Misua (also spelled as mee sua or miswa) are very thin salted noodles made from wheat flour. They’re usually cooked on birthday celebrations which signifies long life in Chinese culture. Aside from that, misua soup is the best dish to be served when you have a sore throat. I remember my mom used to cook this for me (along with porridge, of course) when I was very young. It’s soft and easy to digest. And oh, by the way, it’s the best dish for wintertime as well! 😋

Soto Ayam (Indonesian Chicken Soup) Soto Ayam (Indonesian Chicken Soup)
Soto ayam is one of my family favorite food. In Indonesian language, soto means soup and ayam means chicken. I always make this in a lazy way, using a slow cooker 😊 (very untraditional way to cook Soto Ayam in Indonesia). Please do not get intimidated by the long list of ingredients. It may not look much from the photo, but it is very delicious and incredibly flavorful. Pawon Indo Bule -
Soto Ayam (Indonesian Yellow Chicken Soup) Soto Ayam (Indonesian Yellow Chicken Soup)
‘Soto’ is a traditional Indonesian soup. There are many different kinds of soto. One of favorite is called ‘Soto Ayam’ from Surabaya, the capital city of East Java. It has yellow color broth and is composed of chicken meat, mung bean vermicelli, hard boiled eggs, and topped with koya (a powder of mixed prawn crackers and fried garlic). Turmeric is added as one of the ingredients to get the yellow color of the chicken broth. Miso Ramen Noodle Soup Miso Ramen Noodle Soup
As a ramen lover, I created this recipe. I thought I could make miso-based soup and I actually tried making it. It's delicious because you can adjust it to your liking!(1) If you add green onions early, they will sink, so I recommend adding them later.(2) You won't waste any soup if you measure water or hot water with a bowl you are planning to use. Make appropriate amount of soup by taking the amount of noodles and vegetable.(3) Warm the serving bowl with the boiled noodle water before adding the noodles. Recipe by Jaypegu cookpad.japan -
