Ingredients

8+45-mins.
5 servings
  • 1 cup soaked whole Massor for 8 hours
  • 1/2 cupsour curd
  • 2 tbspsooji
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspasafoetida
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tspgrated garlic
  • 1 tspred chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • For tempering
  • 1 tspoil
  • 1 tspCumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Add curd,salt, red chilli powder, ginger, garlic and grind soaked Massor in a mixer grinder and transfer in a bowl.and add suji asafoetida and mix well.

    Now add 1-tsp oil, baking powder, baking soda and mix well pour the batter in a greased and lined heart shaped mould sprinkle red chilli flakes and steam it for 20 mins. Or till inserted stick comes out clean.

    Unmould in a plate. Heat a kadai add oil for tempering add cumin white sesame when starts cracking add asafoetida and red chilli powder. Pour on Dhokla with spoon. Serve Healthy Steamed Lahsuni Massor Dhoklawith green& red Chutney.
