Believe me, the aroma of this tender crumb, pleasant flavor, healthy and yummy Honey oats bread from my kitchen is really amazing!
I learned baking on my own by watching videos, from different groups. It's my own baked bread in a first go.

Ingredients

1 hour
12 servings
  1. 1/2 CupRolled Oats
  2. 2 CupsAll-purpose Flour
  3. 1/2 CupHoney
  4. 2 tablespoonButter
  5. 1/2 Cupmilk
  6. 1 teaspoonSalt
  7. 1 teaspoonActive Dry Yeast
  8. 1.5 cupsWater or less

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

In a bowl take warm water 3 tbsp, add sugar and yeast and let it get proofed for 5 minutes.

  2. 2

In a large mixing bowl take rolled oats, flour, yeast, honey & salt and incorporate well.

  3. 3

Mix lukewarm milk and oil together and add it to the flour mix.

  4. 4

Start kneading dough and make soft dough either by electric mixer. I have done with hands by kneading for 40-50 turns.

  5. 5

Make 3 parts of dough, Cover the bigger part and let it rest for 15 minutes..

  6. 6

For other 2 parts add different colors, give a gentle knead so that dough get colored.

  7. 7

Start shaping the dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.

  8. 8

Cover and let rise in a warm spot for an hour. It will get almost doubled.
Preheat oven to 375° F & bake for about 25-30 minutes.

  9. 9

Tip:: After the first 15 minutes, cover the top of the loaf with a foil tent to prevent over-browning. Check it after 30 minutes by pricking tooth pick into it.
