Ingredients

  1. 250 gramspotatoes
  2. 100 gramsmozzarella cheese
  3. 1/2 tspchilli flakes
  4. 1/2 tspmixed herbs seasoning
  5. 1 tspblack pepper powder
  6. Handful chopped Coriander
  7. as requiredOil for deep fry
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. forcoating-
  10. 2 tbspmaida
  11. 2 tbspcornflour
  12. 1/4 cupwater(or as needed)
  13. 1/2 cupbread crumbs

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the potatoes until soft, then peel and mash them.

    Add finely chopped coriander leaves, red chilli flakes, mixed herb, black pepper powder and salt and mix well.

    Take 2 tbsp maida and 2 tbsp cornflour in a small bowl, add water and mix well to make a medium thick paste.

    Divide the potato mixture into equal portions. Take 1 portion and press it between your palms to flatten it. Place small cubes of cheese in the centre. Wrap it and give a shape of a ball.

    Now take 1 ball and dip into maida cornflour paste, roll it in breadcrumbs. Do the same process for all balls.

    Heat the oil in a frying pan for deep frying over medium flame. Deep fry until golden from all the sides. Remove them and transfer them on paper towel,deep fry the remaining balls similar way.

    Potato cheese balls are ready for serving, serve hot with garlic sauce or tomato ketchup.
