This is popular salad in Iran. It is originally from Russia. Good for gatherings or for picnic wraped by naan bread or french bouguet bread. If you like sweetness of carrot, boil or steam one carrot and dice it to add to salad but I prefer light sour taste . So I do not add carrots.You need to boil and cook chicken breast with one chopped onion, pinch of turmeric powder and salt proior to making salad or just use left over if you have. #persian

Ingredients

30 minutes
8 servings
  1. 5medium potatoes, boiled
  2. 4eggs,hard boiled
  3. 2 cupscooked shredded chicken breasts
  4. 200 grcan of snow peas
  5. 5thumb sized pickled cucumber(without sugar)
  6. Salt if needed
  7. Pinchblack pepper
  8. 2table spoons lemon juice(optional)
  9. 300 grmayonnaise sauce
  10. Cherry tomatos for garnish(optional)
  11. Mint/parsley leaves for garnish(optional)

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Peel and grate potatoes and eggs. Grate or finley chop pickeld cucumbers.

    When potatoes, eggs and shredded chicken are not warm anymore, put them in big mixing bowl.

    Drain and add canned snow peas. Add black pepper and lemon juice. Mix gently. Add mayonnaise and mix until all ingredients coat with sauce. You may need more mayo.

    Check the salt. Add salt only if you like it saltier. Put in serving plate.Flat the surface. Add more mayo to surface. Garnish with cherry tomatos and fresh parsley or mint or even snow peas

    Serve with naan or bouguet bread. Enjoy!😊
