Ingredients

  • 2 cupswheat flour
  • 1 tbspghee
  • 2big carrot grated
  • 3/4 cupwater
  • 1medium sized onion chopped
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tspcumin powder
  • 1/4 tspgaram masala powder
  • 2-3green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • As per taste Salt
  • 2 tspmint leaves chopped
  • As required Oil for frying paratha

Steps

  1. 1

    First in a bowl take 3/4 cup hot water add 1/2 tsp red chili powder, cumin powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix all well. Then in a mixing bowl take flour and added the spices water. Mix all together and add ghee and knead the flour. If required add little water and make soft dough. Cover and keep aside for five minutes.

    In another bowl take grated carrot, add onion, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, garam masala powder, mint leaves and salt. Mix all very well.

    Now take the dough. Make medium-sized balls.take one ball roll it on rolling board as a thick disc. Then put 2 tsp carrot stuffing in the middle and seal the edges. Then sprinkle some flour on rolling board and roll it.

    Prepare all the parathas like this.then take a tawa add little oil,cook the paratha on both side till golden brown.
