Moonglet

Moonglet is a pancake of India or we can say that it is a desi pancake. Moonglet or moong dal chilla is a protein-packed meal with full of fiber and carbohydrates. Filled with nutrition and rich in taste, it will be ideal for your kids' lunch box. Perfect brown crust stuffed with chopped capsicums, chopped onions and green chillies.

Soak the moong dal (250g) over night

After draining the water add chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, little bit of water and then blend it into a fine paste.

Add salt to taste, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder and 3/4 tsp cumin powder into the ground paste of moong dal. Now mix it properly.

After mixing all the dry spices, add 2 finely chopped onions and 2 finely chopped capsicums. Again give it a mix.

Take a pan and brush some purified butter (ghee). Pour the batter onto the pan.

Cook it on high flame for 5 to 6 minutes. After 6 minutes cook it on low flame with covered lid till one side turns golden brown.

When one side turns golden brown then in the same way we will cook the other side.

Ready for serving
