Grilled Pomfret with Mustard Coconut Sauce

Keep the pomfret whole, but cut off the fine & tail & clean all the innards.Wash & drain the pomfrets.

Make a few deep incisions on both sides of the fish.

Mix the lime juice with other ingredients listed under 1st marinade.

Rub this marinade onto the fish

Prepare the 2and marinade in a large bowl as follows.Beat the egg lightly & add the curd to it.

Add all other ingredients listed undern2nd marinade.

Take the fish marinated with the 1st marinade & discard the liquid if any.

Now rub the 2nd marinade to it.Fill the slits also with the marinade.

Cover with a lid & keep in the refrigerator for 30 mints.

Meanwhile make a paste with 1 tbsp mustard seeds, 1green chilli.Then filtered the mustard paste.Add a pinch of salt, turmeric powder.

To the kadai,add mustard seeds, nigella seeds.Then add the filtered mustard paste & coconut milk.Then add salt & turmeric powder.

Cook for a mint with constant stirring on medium flame.

The mustard coconut sauce is ready.Now grilled the marinated fish on a grill pan.

Pour the mustard coconut sauce on a serving plate & then place the grilled pomfret fish over it.
