Baked Potatoes with your Microwave and Toaster Oven

Goes great on a plate with hamburger or steak and some warm vegetables!! So I thought, and thus I made this.

Wrap in foil and while they cook in the toaster oven, make, "Colorful 10-Minute Glaze with the Microwave," then you will have 4 hot veggies.

Please adjust the time in the microwave so that they are almost done cooking. Ours is 700 W.

You can then have them waiting in the toaster oven on standby for when the main course is ready.

If you have to wait a long time, increase the amount of time in the toaster oven.

When you take them out, they will be very hot, so be careful not to burn yourself. Recipe by nahota mama

Steps

  1. 1

Wash the potatoes until they're clean and put them in a heat resistant container, then cover with cling film (or a lid) and microwave for 10 minutes. If you're only making 1 or 2, then you can just wrap them in cling film.

  2. 2

Wait a few minutes (they won't cool right away and they'll still cook a little with the residual heat), then wrap each in aluminum foil.

  3. 3

Put them in the toaster oven and cook for 5 minutes. Peel back the top of the foil, then cut an incision into the top of the potato and insert butter.

  4. 4

If you make, "Colorful 10-Minute Glaze with the Microwave*"at the same time, you'll have 4 vegetables ready to go.
