In a pan,dry roast sesame seeds for 2-3 minutes on low flame.

Remove in a bowl. Keep aside. In the same pan add sugar and spread it with spatula.

Keep the flame low and allow the sugar to melt completely. Stir occasionally in between. It takes about 15 minutes. Do not turn the flame high,sugar can burn.

As soon as sugar melts,add ghee and switch off the flame. Quickly add sesame seeds. Mix well.

Transfer this mixture quickly on a greased plate or rolling board.

Roll as thin as you like with greased plate. Before the chikki sets give any shape you like using greased pizza cutter.

Allow to cool for half an hour. Separate the chikki pieces and store in airtight container.
