Ingredients

  • 250 gchana dal
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1tomato chopped
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspcumin
  • 1 tspturmeric
  • as per taste salt
  • 2 tbspghee

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker add oil, crack cumin

  2. 2

    Add onion, tomato, spices and mix well along with 3 cups of water

  3. 3

    Add washed daal and mix well and cover the lid

  4. 4

    Take 2 or 3 whistles on low flame and when it cool serve with rice.
