This Mochi dumpling is made from Shiratama rice powder, but you can make with glutinous rice powder, sticky rice powder.

This is Shiratama rice powder.

The flour is mixed with water little by little to make it firm enough to be rounded. Color with food color and make this shape like this photo.

Cut Mochi dough.

Boil the mochi in boiling water. When it floats on top, boil it for another 2 minutes, put it in water and let it cool.

Make ginger syrup and serve with syrup.
