Easy Marshmallow Chocolates in a Microwave

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

This is more crispy, moist, and lighter than store-bought choco flakes. This is an easy and delicious recipe that even kids can make by themselves once they get used to it.

It will be more crispy if the corn flakes break only a little bit while mixing instead of crushing into crumbs.
It seems like it's hard to cook in some microwaves. In that case, it will be easy to cook by following Step 4. Recipe by otegaru

Steps

  1. 1

Put the marshmallows and chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 1 minute at 600W. Stir, and microwave for another 1.5 ~ 2 minutes.

  2. 2

Remove from the microwave, and fold in the corn flakes over a double boiler. Put in truffle cups, and it's done when it has hardened.

  3. 3

You can also transfer it to a tray, and cut out a shape with a cookie cutter. It will be cute, too.

  4. 4

It seems like some people found difficulty when using their microwave. If so, heat a thick pot or a frying pan over low heat, and add butter→ marshmallows→ chocolate→ cornflakes in that order.
