Ingredients

  1. 250 mLfresh milk
  2. 200 mLcooking cream
  3. 7 gramsHalal gelatin
  4. 2-3 gramAgar powder
  5. 40-50 grsugar
  6. 1/2 tspvanilla powder
  7. Few drops of food grade Green colorant
  8. 5 gramsMatcha powder (Pure, unsweetened japanese or korean matcha powder, the better the quality, the better the matcha taste)
  9. 10-20 mLwater

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the fresh milk and cooking cream in a milk pan and stir with a wooden spoon

  2. 2

    Add sugar into the mixture and stir until it dissolves completely

  3. 3

    Add vanilla powder and few drops of colorant to get a desirable green color, mix until homogenous

    In a separate cup, put gelatin powder and add water into it and mix until the powder swells

  5. 5

    In another separate cup, put the matcha powder and add water, then mix it until the powder completely dissolved

    Add the dissolved matcha powder into the milk pan and stir until completely homogenous

    Add the gelatin solution into the mixture and keep stirring until homogenous

    Put the milk pan on the stove with medium heat and keep stirring the mixture until it almost boils

    Pour the pudding mixture into a mold and leave it to cool down to room temperature

    Chill the pudding into the fridge and leave it for 3 - 4 hours to make it completely solidified.

    Sprinkle a little bit matcha powder into the surface of the pudding. The pudding is now ready to serve

    The pudding takes long time to solidify, so when it reaches room temperature, it doesn’t seem to solidify at all, it is still look like a slightly thick liquid. Be patient, just leave it in the fridge, don’t add more gelatin into it and reheat it, unless you want to loose the creamy jelly texture.
