Halloween Ghost Character Bento

I recommend this for school field trips since the bento shows up really well in photos.
For the nori seaweed face parts, I used a craft punch, which I purchased at the dollar store. Recipe by cake* mama.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add your favorite rice seasonings to plain rice and form an oval ball.
- 2
Make the eyes, nose, and mouth by cutting out nori seaweed.
- 3
Make the hat by placing cut-out nori seaweed on processed cheese. The cheese is easier to cut with a toothpick if it's at room temperature.
- 4
Once the rice is cooled, arrange the nori face parts. Use ketchup to make rosy cheeks.
- 5
I used glazed carrots to make Jack O'Lanterns. I used a straw edge that I cut and reshaped with a triangular edge as a cutter for its face.
- 6
I used kamaboko and nori seaweed to make the bats.

A Halloween themed character bento. Halloween is nearly over, but I made this especially and shared it here.If you use parchment paper to trace a house and use it as a pattern for the nori, you won't mess up. I mixed prawns into the rice. The veggie mix is under the shapes so it can't be seen. For 1 serving. Recipe by Yurimanma cookpad.japan -

It's almost Halloween! I can hardly wait to make this bento. It's better to make ketchup rice with warm rice so you can shape it without it crumbling. If you don't have any cheese, just use the nori for the eyes and mouth. (Affix the nori parts after the rice has cooled). Ketchup rice tends to stain the bento box, so we place an antibacterial sheet (or plastic wrap) under the rice. Recipe by seiji0609 cookpad.japan -

You need a pointed witch hat for Halloween bentos. I got a lot of questions about how to make one on my blog, so I created a recipe. When cutting out the nori for the hat brim, stack two layers together, and fold in half again before cutting. Make the curve a bit bigger than the circumference of the onigiri. Make a thin strip of nori to cover the edge of the cheese too. For 1 serving. Recipe by momo** cookpad.japan -

Since it's October, I wanted to make my son's bentos Halloween themed! I made an extra effort and prepared these.Make extra amounts of carrot slices simmered in consomme or glazed carrots. Wrap each slice in plastic wrap to use the next day in bentos - it's handy to have these on hand. You can freeze cooked kabocha squash too. Wrap each piece in plastic. You can use the frozen pieces as-is in bentos, so they can slowly thaw, just in time for lunch! 80 grams of rice is just enough for a 2 year old boy's bento box. Recipe by Mya-kom. cookpad.japan
