Made in Appam Pan, these Appe Mini Chocolate Cakes or Chocolate Appakes as I refer them to as are a treat to our tastebuds. An excellent Dessert that's simple to whip up and delicious in taste as well. It can be made in a jiffy on any given day. It requires just a few minimal ingredients and you are good to go. Infact I feel that these are much easier than baking.
A perfect crowd pleaser. It can be made even a day before any get together or a family reunion. You can just warm them up before serving. Or they can be whipped up just a few hours before the guests arrive. The taste and texture is simply irresistible. Everyone will love these single serving Mini Cakes for sure.

Sieve all the dry ingredients at first. Mix all the wet ingredients in a bowl. Slowly fold in the dry ingredients now.

Mix well and get ready for the lovely treat to be cooked. Heat an Appe pan. Brush each depression in the pan with Oil or Butter. Fill each with about a tablespoon full of the batter. Place a piece of Amul Dark Chocolate on it. Pour a little more of the batter on it to cover it fully. Place a lid on and cook for about 2 minutes.

Flip over and cook on the other side too. Serve these yummy Appe Cakes with Chocolate sauce or Whipped Cream. Or even as it is. You will love them for sure. Indulge in this treat with your loved ones at Iftaar. It's an excellent option for breaking the day long fast. Happy Iftaar!
