Ingredients

7-8 days
several Spoons
  • 2 cupsfresh Rose Petals
  • 2 cupgranulated sugar
  • 1 tesp cardamom powder
  • 2-3 dropsrose water

Steps

7-8 days
  1. 1

    Gently wash the petals with water and let them dry on a dry cloth. chop the petals into pieces.

  2. 2

    Add sugar in the petals, cardamom powder and Rose water.
    Spread a layer of rose petals in a dry glass bottle with a lid.

  3. 3

    Then again spread a layer of petals over the sugar layer.
    Repeat till all the petals are done.

  4. 4

    Now close the bottle or jar with lid and keep in sunlight for 7-8 days.

  5. 5

    Keep stirring after every other day (eik din chord Kar agly din) with clean wooden spoon.

  6. 6

    Gulqand is ready about 7 to 8 days then keep in fridge for upto a month. (use clean spoon when use).
