  1. half cupChana daal
  2. quarter cupMasoor daal
  3. quarter cupMoong daal
  4. 4Green chillies
  5. 1 big sizeOnion
  6. 3 tbspOil
  7. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tspHaldi
  9. 1 Onion medium size for tarka
  10. Salt as required to taste
  11. Coriander as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil, add onion, cook till soft, now add dry spices.

  2. 2

    Add all daal and 1 glass water, cover with lid. As daal tenderize, add salt, stir as daal mashed.

  3. 3

    On pan, heat oil and fry onion, till brown. Pour on daal. Garnish with green chillies and coriander
