Pan fried Tangy Tofu

Tofu is a great source of protein and low in fat. This preparation of tofu I made with sesame and garlic sauce is great in taste with a tangy flavor. It's tender too.

Tofu is a great source of protein and low in fat. This preparation of tofu I made with sesame and garlic sauce is great in taste with a tangy flavor. It's tender too.
Steps

Dry the Tofu slab, removing the water. Slice tofu and add cornstarch, turmeric powder and chilli powder. Toss well.

Prepare the sauce with the sauce ingredients mentioned above.

Heat the oil and add the tofu and let it brown from all the sides. Remove the tofu. Add minced garlic and saute.

Add onion and saute till translucent. Add green peas and chopped green bell paper. Fry for some seconds to keep crunchy.

Add the sauce to pan,the sauce thicken immediately. Add fried tofu and ensure the sauce to be well coated with tofu.

Pan fried tangy tofu is ready to serve. Serve by garnishing with roasted sesame seed.
