Dal khichdi

Soak the Dal and rice separately for half an hour. give 4 whistles in the cooker.

Now add oil for tempering. Add cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves, and green chilies. Add garlic ginger and saute till we get a golden color.

Now add onion and saute well, add tomatoes add all masala, and mix well till all masala cooked.

Now add Dal and mix it, add rice and add 1 cup of water. Boil it for 10 minutes on also flame. Dal khichdi is ready.

In tadka pan add ghee. Add garlic ginger, 1 whole red chili, and curry leaves pour this tadka on khichdi. Garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy hot Dal khichdi with salad, curd, papas.
