Just an easy recipe I use for sauce when we make pizza. Makes a great dipping sauce too. It makes enough for 2-4 16" pizzas, depending how saucy you like them. For freezing it, see step 4.

Storebought pizza sauce is expensive and doesn't last...I always have canned tomatoes on hand, so I made this easily using things I had in the house.The only key is to crush the tomatoes well, I guess.The sauce has a more complex flavor if you add herbs, but it's fine without them too.
