Ingredients

15- 20 mins
1-2 people
  1. 1 cuppoha /chivda
  2. 1 tablespoonoil
  3. 1/8 teaspoonasafoetida
  4. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  5. 1/2 cuponion finely chopped
  6. 8-10curry leaves(optional)
  7. 2-3whole red cillies
  8. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  9. as per tasteSalt
  10. 1 teaspoongreen chilli, finely chopped
  11. 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  12. 1 tablespoonCoriander leaves, chopped

Steps

15- 20 mins
  1. 1

    Put poha in a colander and wash, not letting it soak too long in a water. Leave in the colander to drain out completely.

  2. 2

    Heat the oin and add tha asafoetida, mustord seeds, curry leaves and onion along with whole red chilies.

  3. 3

    When onion are light brown, add potatoes and turn around till they look a bit glossy.

  4. 4

    Add the turmeric and saute over low heat till the potatoes are cooked through.

  5. 5

    Increase the heat, add salt and poha and mix well. Saute till mixed and heated through.

  6. 6

    Shut off the heat, and mix in the green chillies, lemon juice and half of the coriander.

  7. 7

    Transfer on to serving dish, garnish with coriander and lemon wedges.
