This is a variation of the thalipeeth which is regularly made in Maharashtrian households. This version uses flattened rice. I am sure as to when you are faced with the question, which am usually as to what to make in those between times of lunch and dinner or snack time. You can quickly assemble this as these ingredients are readily available at our homes and relish it with bowl of curds or white butter, some tomato sauce or chutney and even a raw garlic with it.
