Punjabi Kadhi Pakoda

First of all prepare pakodas.Mix all the ingredients of pakodas. Add water form a batter of dropping consistency. Set aside for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, heat oil and fry pakodas till golden Take out and keep aside.

Now mix all spices in besan for making kadhi. Add water and make a paste. Keep aside.

Heat a pan. Add 2 tbsp oil. Add 1 pinch of carom seeds. Add onion paste, saute for 2 minutes Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.

Add besan paste,add 1/2cup water and stir continously to avoid lumping. Stir for 3-4minutes. Whisk the curd and add to the besan. Add 4 cups of water. Let it boil.

When boiling starts, lower the flame and cook for 15 minutes on the lowest flame.

After 15 minutes, adjust the consistency of kadhi, now add pakodas and boil for 1-2minutes. Put off the flame.

For tempering, heat oil in a tadka pan, add red chilies and cumin seeds. when splattered add to kadhi.

Serve hot with boiled rice.
