  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 3eggs
  3. 1 cupbutter
  4. 1 cupsugar
  5. Vanilla extract
  6. 1/2 cupmilk
  7. 3 TBScacao powder (unsweetened)
  8. 1 TSPbaking powder
  9. Pinchsalt

    All ingredients have to have room temperature. Mix the butter till its creamy (about 1 min)

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° Celsius (350 ° Fahrenheit).

    Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix till it gets a pale color. (About 3-4 min)

    Add one egg after another and keep mixing.

    Add the milk.

    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt in an extra bowl than add it to the butter, egg mixture.

    Divide the batter in two equal parts. Add in the second bowl the caco powder and combine it well.

    Divide one of the batter in a baking pan. Than spoon the chocolate batter on the top.

    With a stick/wooden spoon or a butter knife make waves in the batter so as to create the marbling.

    Bake the cake until the toothpick comes out clean again when testing (40-50 minutes)
