Olive and Pepper Kadha

An immunity booster Kadha made of Olives, Peppercorns, Cloves and a pinch of Turmeric. With all of these, it got to be perfect.
Kadha is a traditional Indian drink often consumed as Chai or Tea and is an effective remedy for Seasonal Flu, Cough and Colds. Made with Indian Herbs and Spices, it's a natural immunity booster. Best remedy for Sore throat and Fever too.
In this particular one, I have made use of Olives too, thereby giving it a bit different look altogether. Olives as you all know are very high in Vitamin A and other powerful antioxidants. They are the ultimate heart healthy Snack. Improves circulation and has anti inflammatory benefits. Also prevents Osteoporosis and helps in maintaining bone health.
Using them in this Kadha therefore has a lot of health benefits. Thus it got to be served after a meal. Do not consume it on an empty stomach.

Also no Kadha can make you lose weight overnight. There are many Herbal concoctions and Tesp claiming to be good for weight loss or gain. This is absolutely a myth. Consuming an immunity booster Kadha with moderate amount of exercise plus maintaining a healthy lifestyle, all of these goes into making a healthy you.

  3. 3

Strain in the serving cups directly. I prefer to keep the Olives as it is just so that they can be eaten as well. If desired you can strain them before consuming. Have it warm. Not very hot or cold. Enjoy this healthy concoction.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
