I’ve been wanting to combine fruit with sangria for a few days. Since my wife didn’t want it, I made a different (but similar) dessert for her so I could make the dessert I was craving.

I’ve been wanting to combine fruit with sangria for a few days. Since my wife didn’t want it, I made a different (but similar) dessert for her so I could make the dessert I was craving.

Wash and dice the figs and pear into small cubes (no need to peel the pear; the skin has great nutrients).

Place the pear cubes at the bottom of a glass.
- 3
Add the fig cubes on top of the pear.
- 4
Sprinkle with sugar.
- 5
Fill the glass with sangria.
- 6
Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
