Delicious and authentic Bengali cuisine dessert Mishti Doi iis fermented caramelized yogurt/ dahi made from milk, caramelized sugar or jaggery and curd. I flavoured with cardamoms.
Steps

Boil milk in thick bottom pan. After one boil add 3 tbsp sugar and stirring constantly on slow flame cook till half quantity remains.

In small pan add 3 tbsp sugar and melt it till caramelized. Pour this caramelized sugar mixture in above boiled milk. Mix well and off the flame.

Add cardamoms powder mix well and cool at room temperature. When it slightly warm add fresh curd and whisk together.

Pour this milk mixture into mud vessel (small pot or bowl). Cover with aluminium foil. Let it ferment(thicken to make yogurt) for 6 hours.

Refrigate/ Chill for 2-3 hours. Serve/ Relish delicious chilled Cardamom flavour Mishti Doi garnishing with cardamom seeds
