Ingredients

2 servings
  • 250 gmFinely chopped banana stem
  • 100 gmBoiled toor dal
  • 1/2 cupGrated coconut
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 pinchTurmeric powder
  • 1 pinchJeera powder
  • as requiredCurry leaf a few
  • 2 tbspCoconut oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • as per tasteSalt
  • 100 gmShallots cleaned

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Boil the banana stem in the water with salt

  2. 2

    Grind grated coconut along with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder and shallots

  3. 3

    Temper the mustard seeds and curry leaf in a pan with coconut oil

  4. 4

    Add the crushed mixture in, and sorte for few minuits

  5. 5

    Add boiled banana stem and boiled toor dal in to it and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add salt if requires

  7. 7

    Serve with boiled rice
