Ingredients

  1. 300 gspaghetti
  2. 1 cananchovies in oil (50 g)
  3. 1 jarsun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped (170 g)
  4. 2 tbspItalian seasoning
  5. 1 tspfennel seeds
  6. 1 tbspcapers
  7. 1 tbspolives
  8. Grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano to taste
  9. 1/2 tspCalabrian chili (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Cook pasta according to package directions.

    In a saucepan, heat olive oil on medium heat until hot but not smoking. Add fennel, Italian seasoning, and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 2 minutes.

    Add anchovies, capers, and olives. Reduce heat to medium low, and let simmer for five minutes.

    Add cooked pasta and toss well. Serve with grated cheese and Calabrian chili.
