Creamy Chicken and biscuits
I've been making this for 30 years. Finally took pictures after making it. So I could share the recipe.
Cooking Instructions

Boil chicken until cooked all the way through. Remove from heat and let cool.

Combine Soups, Sour Cream, Milk, and Frozen Peas and Carrots in a medium saucepan and allow to heat up.

Shredd chicken and add to the soup mixture.
- 4
Pour mixture into a casserole dish.
- 5
Add Shredded Cheese.
- 6
Mix biscuit dough.
- 7
Drop onto chicken and soup mixture.
- 8
Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes. Some ovens run hot, some not so much. Check on it at the 30 minute mark.

My mother in law taught me how to cook one of my husband's favorite comfort foods. I had never eaten anything like this before in my life. Not that it's unusual, but I've lived a very sheltered life.We are a family of 6, so I make a rather large amount. We 💙 leftovers. This can be halved or done in the crock pot (with the thickening done at the end). It's also a versatile dish because you can use fresh chicken, leftover chicken, serve over rice, mashed potatoes, bread, or noodles. This is one of my budget meals . I have a few different Versions of chicken pot pie, they are all easy . Some recipes I seen calls to bake the biscuits on top of the filling in the oven, but honestly the bottom of the biscuits are like dough, it’s why I cook them separate . If your not taking pictures of your food like I tend to do lol there’s really no reason for the baking dish , just serve it up... 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -
