Sattu Ka Ghol/ Savoury Sattu Ka Sherbet

Sattu Ka Ghol / Sherbet is one of the healthiest and nutritious drink/ beverage of India, especially popular in the M.P, You.P, Bihar and Bengal region.
It is sought after Street Food too.
Sattu is Flour made out of Roasted Bengal Gram/ Kala Chana/ Chickpea.
It's high on nutrients, like protein, carb, iron, fiber etc. About 100 gms of Sattu has 20 gms of Vegan Protein.
It's good for weight loss in a healthy and nutritious way. Having Sattu in empty stomach, fights bloating, improve metabolism and helps in burning calories. Its a great body coolant too.
Due to low GI, it's good for diabetic people too.
I have made the savoury one which is more healthier than the sweetned one.
I love anything made by Sattu- Sattu Ka Paratha, Litti Chokha, sweetned Sattu dough which is eaten with Mango or Stuffed Chilli Pickle a perfect combination of sweetness and tanginess ( used to have a lot when as a kid), as a kid used to simply mix Sattu, sugar and water and have it.
I add it to my veg kebabs and koftas too for binding.
