Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsbell pepper, sliced lengthwise (about 250 grams)
  2. 2large onions, sliced
  3. 2-3large tomatoes, sliced
  4. 7 ouncespaneer, cut into thick strips (about 200 grams)
  5. Pink salt, to taste
  6. Red chili powder, to taste
  7. Garam masala, to taste
  8. 1/2 teaspoonwhole coriander seeds
  9. 2whole dried red chilies
  10. 1 pinchasafoetida (hing)
  11. 1/4 cuptomato sauce (about 1/2 small bowl)

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a skillet. Add asafoetida, coriander seeds, and whole dried red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add the bell peppers and tomatoes. Cook until they soften.

  3. 3

    Add all the powdered spices and sauté well. Once the bell peppers are soft, add the tomato sauce and paneer. Cook until everything is well combined.

  4. 4

    Your delicious restaurant-style chili paneer is ready to serve.
