Cooking Instructions
- 1
Roughly chop the spinach into small pieces. Slice the onion and bacon into thin strips.
- 2
Beat the egg with a whisk to make it airy, add the milk, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- 3
Form the framework of the quiche with the bread and cut off the crusts.
- 4
Squish the center sections of the bread with a rolling pin. Cut into pieces and lightly toast (The sizes and the crispiness of the toast is up to you).
- 5
Heat 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan. Add Step 1 and season salt and pepper. Remove and add to Step 2.
- 6
Heat another 1/2 tablespoon of butter in the frying pan. Place the bread crusts in the pan and pour Step 5 over them. It might look a bit messy but don't worry about it!
- 7
Return any parts that stick out back to the center and lightly stir it. Cover with a lid and let it steam over low heat. Flip over and lightly cook.

Crustless Quiche With Lots of Vegetables Crustless Quiche With Lots of Vegetables
I wanted a tasty way to eat spinach, so I decided to make a quiche. And to make it health all around I made it with tofu. I included a ton of vegetables that I had in the fridge too.Eliminate any excess water in both the tofu and the vegetables to prevent this from becoming watery. If you leave out the bacon and egg and use soy milk, this is good for vegetarians too. Both the bacon and cheese are salty, so go easy on the seasonings. You can decrease or increase the amount of vegetables. And of course, you could make it with a crust, too! Recipe by VitaminY cookpad.japan -

Quiche is a bit of work but so worth it when you are able to take that extra time. There's just myself and my husband to feed at our house now, so I like to serve this quiche for dinner, then have the leftovers for breakfast on Saturday! sandra53 -
Easy Potato Quiche Made From Scratch Easy Potato Quiche Made From Scratch
I received a rare type of potatoes called “Inca No Hitomi” as a gift. I wanted to make something with it, and taking its sticky texture into consideration, I made a quiche.Adding some spinach, bacon, salmon, onions, etc. will be good too.As long as you do the basic crust and egg mixture right, you can basically toss in a variety of ingredients. If you can make the crust dough in advance and let rest in the fridge, it will settle better. Please bear in mind that the dough can get pretty soft in a hot weather condition.
