I've been on the hunt for an amazing bloody Mary recipe for the longest time. You can tell a crappy pre-made mix from a quality made drink with a recipe. I normally find the latter in fine seafood joints. This recipe will rival anyone of those.

Ingredients

  1. Bloody Mary Mix
  2. 1 litertomato juice
  3. 2 tspprepared horseradish
  4. 2 tspsalt flakes
  5. 1 tspfreshly ground black pepper
  6. 1juice from 1 lemon
  7. 2 tspWorcestershire sauce
  8. 1 tsptobasco sauce, or to taste
  9. 1/3 cupbrine from green olives
  10. Bloody Mary
  11. 1lemon wedge to rim glasses to act as adhesive for celery salt
  12. 1celery salt, to rim edges of glasses
  13. 1 stickcelery, per glass
  14. 3/4 cupDirty Bloody Mary mix
  15. 1 ozvodka
  16. 2green olives stuffed with pimentos

Cooking Instructions

    TO MAKE THE MIX:

    Combine all ingredients in a large jug and whisk to combine.

    Store in the refrigerator until required, for up to 1 week.

    TO MAKE A DIRTY BLOODY MARY:

    Using one of the lemon wedges, wipe the rim of a glass and dip into celery salt, set aside.

    Add ice an the celery stalk to the glass.

  7. 7

    Pour the Bloody Mary mix into the prepared glass and top with vodka, garnish with the olives.
