Like Cafe Du Monde's Fried Beignets

The beignets my brother-in-law made for me were so good, I wanted to try making them myself.
Be sure to eat them fresh. If you can't eat them right away, put the dough in the refrigerator and let chill until you are just about ready to eat. They're also good cold, but are simply best when fresh! Recipe by Nusadoa

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix the flour and dry yeast, and mix the other ingredients (except for those marked with ◎).
- 2
Put the mixture from Step 1 into a bread maker, then let it run for about half of the bread dough course. If it's sticky, you can add a little more flour.
- 3
Bring the dough together, wrap in plastic, and let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- 4
Remove from the refrigerator and roll out with a rolling pin to about 1 cm thickness.
- 5
Cut into 4-5 cm squares.
- 6
Fry in oil heated to about 180°C until lightly browned on both sides.
- 7
Remove from the oil. Put the powdered sugar in a plastic bag, add the donuts, and shake to coat. Enjoy!
- 8
This is what the real deal looks like. It's calling out for you to eat it, right?

Beignets Beignets
I love waking up with a sweet breakfast morning during the Thanksgiving and Xmas season. Whether it is a Dutch Baby, a simple set of waffles or these lovely Beignets. I know I don't need to travel to Café Du Monde at New Orleans to taste these Beignets, I can simply make these in my home kitchen. So can you!Beignet is actually a deep fried choux pastry which is popular in France, but somehow it found its way into New Orleans and eventually evolved into a donut served with icing sugar. Beignets are often served with café au lait, a French coffee with milk.Tho I am not a donut person, but this just blow me away. They are light, fluffy and crispy at the same time unlike the greasy, overly sweet and dense donuts. I love having these Beignets with my strawberry compote. You can of cos serve them as it is or with any homemade or store-bought high quality compote or jam. You can my homemade compote recipe here. I hope you can give this recipe a try and have breakfast in bed not just during the Thanksgiving or Xmas season, but on every other morning. Daniel Lim -
Simple & Springy Beignet-Style Bread Simple & Springy Beignet-Style Bread
I wanted to eat bread without using the oven...This turned out tone like beignet bread (also known as fritters) that doesn't harden even after cooling. This will look like French bread if you cut a slit into it, and it won't swell up right if you don't cut one, so I recommend cutting slits. This also tastes great with honey, jam, chocolate, or condensed milk etc. For 2 people. French Toast: The #1 Cafe Item French Toast: The #1 Cafe Item
This French toast is my daughter's favourite! When you let the bread soak, carefully push it with your hands. If you use chopsticks or a spoon, you might rip it. Be careful with the heat too -- mind you don't burn it!It's nice made with baguettes too. For 1 serving. Recipe by Hinochan mama cookpad.japan -

Fried Pastries Just Like Canadian "BeaverTails" Fried Pastries Just Like Canadian "BeaverTails"
I used to have these often when I lived in Canada, and wanted to come up with a way to make them at home. I researched recipes online and rearranged them to make my own version. The kneading process can be a bit challenging but my tip is to just keep on going! I haven't given this a try, but if you have a bread machine at home, it might come in handy.*This dough only requires one proofing. Recipe by Kourin cookpad.japan
