My daughter loves deep-fried chicken thigh very much!
The chicken marinated in the salt and yogurt is tender, so this is great for lunchboxes.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 330 gramsChicken thighs
  2. 3 tbspPlain yogurt
  3. 1/2 tspSalt
  4. 1 tbspSoy sauce
  5. 1 tspGarlic (grated)
  6. 5 tbspKatakuriko
  7. 1as much as you want Lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces. Put the chicken, yogurt, salt, soy sauce and garlic in a plastic bag, and leave it to rest in the refrigerator over 2 nights.

  2. 2

Put katakuriko in a plastic bag. Add one piece of chicken thigh and some air in the bag. Shake the bag so that katakuriko will coat the chicken. Coat all of the chicken pieces this way.

  3. 3

The chicken will be like this.

  4. 4

Deep-fry the chicken in 170 °C vegetable oil. Cook both sides well, then lift up the chicken in the air for 10 seconds. Put the chicken back in the oil for finishing to make it crispier, as if you double fried it.

  5. 5

The fried chicken will turn out like this.

  6. 6

Sprinkle on some lemon juice if you'd like, and it will be delicious as well!
