Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwhite rice (about 200 grams)
  2. 3 cupswater (about 710 ml)
  3. 4 cupsmilk (about 950 ml)
  4. 2cinnamon sticks
  5. as neededSweetened condensed milk,
  6. Raisins, to taste
  7. 2 tablespoonsvanilla extract
  8. Ground cinnamon, to taste

    Rinse the rice thoroughly.

    Add the rice to a large pot and pour in the 3 cups of water.

    Bring to a boil over medium heat, then add the cinnamon sticks and sweetened condensed milk.

    Add a splash of vanilla extract and raisins to taste.

    When most of the water has been absorbed, add the 4 cups of milk.

    Let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
