This is a "Maizena"recipy. I slightly adapted it because it dit not work there was not enough milk in it to be able to get a smooth finish. I slightly overbaked mine but my oven is broken. So have a try.

Ingredients

6 -8 servings
  1. 1roll pastry
  2. 150 grcornstarch
  3. 300 mlfull fat milk + 1 tb
  4. 180 grsugar
  5. 500 grfull fat fresh cheese
  6. 2eggs
  7. 100 grsoaked raisins
  8. 1 tbgood quality vanilla essence or rhum essence
  9. Powder sugar to glace

    Blind bake the pastry. (See instructions on packet). It needs to be pailer than mine.

    Dilute the cornstarch with the sugar and the milk

    Bring to a boil whisking vigioursly, I needed an electric whisk. Take of the fire

    Divide the eggs into 1 yolk, another yolk and 2 egg whites. Dilute 1 yolk with a tb milk.

    Take the mixture from the fire. Put in the cheese and eggyolk. Whisk. Bring back to a boil.

    Put the mixture in a bowl

    Put in the raisins

  8. 8

    Whisk the egg whites into soft peaks. Do this in a glas, clean,bowl.

    Fold the eggs white in the mixture

    Put the mixture in the baked case

    Smooth

  12. 12

    Brush with the diluted egg yolk

  13. 13

    Bake for 50 min in a cool oven (140°C fan oven)

    Glace with the powder sugar. cut of the over hanging edges

  15. 15

    Cool and serve
