First you marinate the Prawns with red chilli powder, turmeric powder,salt & 1 Tsp. Oil for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in kadai & fry the Prawns. Keep aside. Then add whole garam masala in oil. When it splatter, add onion & green chilli paste. Fry it well.Then add a little water & fry it well.Then add ginger garlic paste,salt,sugar, turmeric powder,cumin powder, coriander powder & tomato.Fry it well for 5 minutes.

Then add onion (square shape).Fry it very well. Then add some water & fried Prawns. Fry it for 2 minutes.When oil comes out from the masala, add 1 cup of warm water in it & cook it for 10 minutes in medium to low flame.Then add garam masala powder. Now Prawn Dopiaza is ready to be serve with steamed rice or Jeera rice or Polau.
