Ingredients

60 minutes
  1. 1 lbbreakfast sausage
  2. 8biscuits (canned, frozen or homemade)
  3. 7eggs, whisked
  4. 1/2 cupmilk
  5. Gravy, (homemade 2-3 cups or packets=2)
  6. 1 cupshredded cheese
  7. 2 cupscold water for the packet gravy
  8. Salt and pepper to taste
  9. 1 tspworcestershire sauce

Cooking Instructions

60 minutes
  1. 1

Start by cooking your sausage in a skillet until crumbled and no longer pink. While that is cooking spray your 9x13 pan with cooking spray. If making right away preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. 2

Dice up your biscuit dough and slice into 5-6 wedges, and sprinkle on the bottom of the pan.

  3. 3

Now add your cooked sausage and cheese over the top of the biscuits.

  4. 4

Whisk your eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper in a bowl until well mixed and pour over the casserole.

  5. 5

Now either make your gravy or you will mix 1 packet of peppered gravy with 2 cups cold water. Pour over the mixture and cover and bake for 45-50 minutes or until breakfast biscuit casserole is done.

  6. 6

Right before the casserole is done, take your other packet peppered gravy and make it in a skillet following the instructions on the back or make your homemade gravy. I suggest make about about 3 cups of gravy, you want more for top probably.

  7. 7

Slice up your biscuit casserole and spoon the extra gravy over the top and serve!

  8. 8

If you want to make this an overnight casserole, prep it all, and cover and place it in the fridge overnight. Turn oven to 350 degrees in the morning and cook covered until fully cooked. This will take an hour or an hour and 15 minutes.
