Prepare noodles following directions on package

While noodles are cooking, put 8 quart pot on medium heat, add olive oil, chopped onion and ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste, use wooden spatula or spoon to crumble ground beef as it cooks until done

Add chopped cabbage and mix in with beef and onion. Cover, cook until cabbage starts to wilt

Turn the heat down to low and add tomato sauce, heat for 5 to 10 minutes and then stir in the drained cooked noodles. You can heat for a few more minutes then serve. This makes about 6 to 8 servings which lasts me several days, I often eat if for lunch and dinner.
