Ingredients

  • 200grmMango ginger
  • 1/2 cupGrated coconut
  • 1 tbspCoriander seed
  • 1tsp Cumin seed
  • 5Red dry chilli
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1Onion big (cut into pieces)
  • as per taste Salt
  • 2 tspJaggery
  • 1 tspMustard seed
  • as required Curry leaves handful
  • 1 tbspTamarind paste
  • 5 tbsp Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash, Peel the skin of mango ginger, and cut into small pieces

    In a pan fry coriander seed, cumin seed red chilli, until get good aroma

  3. 3

    Add onion, coconut, turmeric powder, and fry until the coconut change light brown, let it cool

    Grind ginger, without water as coarsely, add, other fried ingredients and grind as fine paste

    Add jaggery, and serve with plain rice, iddly, dosa and roti,

    With rice serve with microwave cooked papads
