Steps

Rub the lavender, salt and sugar together until they smell like lavender.

Mix butter into the sugar mixture until well combined. Fold in flour and mix well.

Transfer this to a prepared baking tray and pat the dough down until it is level.

Bake for 40-55 minutes at 150 degrees until the top is golden brown and the edges have shrunk.

When it is cool you can cut into 24 squares (or less if you want them to be bigger or smaller).

This goes well with earl grey tea!
