Ingredients

15 - 20 minutes
3 people
  • For the sauce
  • 4 Tlow sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tsesame oil
  • 1 twhite sugar
  • 1 Tteriyaki sauce
  • For the stir fry
  • 3-4 ozegg noodles, cooked according to package directions
  • 10 pcsfrozen grilled chicken tenders
  • 1 cupfrozen mixed veggies (broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas, water chestnuts)
  • 1 Tsesame oil
  • 1/4 cupsliced red onions
  • 1/2 cupsliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cupsliced red bell peppers
  • 2 stalkssliced green onions
  • 1/4 cupsliced celery
  • 1 Tmirin

Steps

15 - 20 minutes
  1. 1

    Prepare the sauce by mixing the ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat a sauté pan and add the frozen chicken and veggies. Let it cook for about 5 minutes or until thawed.

  3. 3

    Add sesame oil and the remaining fresh vegetables. Cook until the mushrooms have turned into a darker color (about 8 minutes). Stir once in a while.

  4. 4

    Add mirin and mix well to loosen up the brown bits at the bottom of the pan.

  5. 5

    Put the cooked noodles in the pan and add half of the sauce then stir. Give it a try and add more sauce depending on your taste. Make sure that the veggies are mixed well with the noodles. Serve and enjoy right away, or put in a thermos food jar for a hearty school lunch!
