Heat oil in kadai & add cumin seeds. Then add cumin powder, turmeric powder, grated ginger, green chillies & salt. Fry it well.

Then add green tomato & Capsicum.Fry it. Then add potatoes,salt & 1tbs. Water. Fry it well.

When oil comes out from masala, add 1 cup water.Cook it for 5 minutes in medium to low flame. Then add sugar & garam masala powder. Cover & cook it for 1 minute in low flame. It's done. Serve it with Rice, Polau, Puri, Paratha or Roti.
