Steps

Preheat oven to 180C for 10 minutes.

Combine together sugar and oil in a large bowl till sugar is dissolved. Add in the eggs one by one and whisking after each addition. Add in the vanilla extract & whisk.

Sift in the dry ingredients- flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and soda. Mix well with cut & fold method. Add the milk to the batter and whisk well till no lumps are left out.

Divide the batter equally into 2 bowls. Add cocoa powder to one of them & mix. Line muffin tray with cupcakes liners/use silicon muffin molds.

Dollop a spoon of chocolate batter, a spoon of vanilla batter alternatively till mold is filled 3/4ths. After filled, swirl the batter with a toothpick making an S shape 2-3 times.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 18-20 mins. Demold after cooled completely.
