  4. 1/2 cupwhole wheat flour
  5. Salt to taste

  9. 50 gramspaneer (Indian cottage cheese)
  10. 50 gramscheese
  11. 2 teaspoonschopped cilantro (optional)
  12. 1/4 teaspoonoregano
  13. 1/4 teaspoonbasil
  14. 1/4 teaspoonchili flakes
  15. Salt to taste (optional)
  16. Other Ingredients
  17. Butter as needed for cooking the paratha
  18. Tomato sauce as needed for serving

Cooking Instructions

    Boil water in a pot and blanch the spinach. Drain and blend the spinach into a paste.

    Transfer the spinach paste to a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon oil, salt, and knead the dough. Add water if needed. Knead until the dough is medium soft. Use the remaining oil to coat the dough. Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

    Grate the paneer and cheese into a mixing bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and mix gently. (You can also finely chop and add onions and garlic if desired.)

    Take a portion of the dough and roll it out. Place a little stuffing in the center, cover, and roll it out again.

    Cook the paratha on a hot griddle with butter until both sides are golden brown.
